Julian Johns has been with the Taupo Learning Centre since 2010. He has a passion for helping people achieve their life goals. He believes that education is the key to discovering your place in the world. With 15 years experience in the adult education sector both as a tutor and manager Julian has the knowledge and skills to support people to reach their potential.

Claire has been part of the Taupō Learning Centre team since 2009. As a qualified and experienced adult educator, she believes in the power of education to uplift and empower - “My role is not just about teaching—it’s about walking alongside others as they grow, learn, and discover their potential. What matters most to me is manaaki tāngata—caring for people. I strive to create spaces where everyone feels respected, supported, and valued.”

Student Support
Kirby
Kirby joined the Taupo Learning Centre team in August 2021. He loves people and takes a lead role in student welfare, ever at the ready with licks and cuddles aplenty for anyone who may require his support.
